Hello and thank you for considering our villa as your place of residence. We are a family living in Belgium who bought the villa in 2017. We fell in love with it because it has a breathtaking view (we are just on the hill in front of the sea without vis-à-vis), it is in a very quiet place, it is modern and at the same time typically Andalusian, and is close to everything we need (beaches, shops, restaurants, bars, nature reserves, picturesque villages). However, you will need to rent a car. We have arranged the villa to be as comfortable as possible: high quality bedding, air conditioning, OLED 55" flat TV, Netflix, high-speed Wifi, gas barbecue and even a heated swimming pool for spring and autumn. It has everything you need to accommodate up to 10 people including a tumble dryer, dryer, super equipped kitchen. The garden is beautiful and the garden furniture is very modern and dates from 2017 (in summer we live mainly outside). The villa is on a hill in front of sea so there are several stairs to go from the street and reach the villa & it might be difficult to bring your car down to the garage. In short, it is also our holiday destination and we want it to be top.

Esperanza will welcome you for your stay. She is a charming lady living in the village of Lanjaron (very good mineral water by the way) with whom we have been working for since 2017. She also did the rentals for the previous owners as of 2012. She is very friendly and does everything she can to make your stay perfect. To give you an example, our son got sick on a Sunday and she didn't hesitate to come and help us find a doctor. She even accompanied us to the doctor to do the translations! As the owner, we listen to our guests and you can count on our sympathy and interest in making your stay perfect.

The villa is located on one of the two hills of Cotrobo which is the most exclusive district of the city of Almunecar. There are very few houses on the hill (unlike other "urbanization"). You have access to a "natural" beach (without construction) via a steep staircase from the villa. In 5 minutes by car you have access to several very large beaches in the cities of Almunecar and La Heradura. These places have not been attacked by mass tourism and so it is very pleasant to go to the beach (the beaches are a little denser in August because the Spanish take their holidays at that time). In 20 minutes by car you have access to a nature reserve with beautiful beaches. If you are there for culture, you have Granada with the Alhambra at 1h drive. Seville, Cordoba, Malaga, Cadiz, etc. are also accessible but requires 2-3 hours by car. In terms of restaurants, bars and shops, you have everything you could possibly dream of within 30 to 60 minutes by car. You have a port with access to all water sports at 10min by car. You can also go skiing 1 hour by car in the Sierra Nevada in winter. We have assembled a folder with all our best activities and restaurants at your disposal.
