Calella de Palafrugell and LLafranc joined by the Camino de Ronda an easy coastal walk and both villages have a wide range of restaurants scattered along the beachfront or hidden in the back streets. The area is quite exceptional with a beautiful coastline and small sandy beaches. No mass tourism just a selection of independent tourists and many local from Barcelona who own their second homes here. The atmosphere is friendly and low key. If you come , you re sure to return. Palafrugell has a larger shopping area with various supermarkets , reasonably priced restaurants and a daily market for fresh foods with the main market on a Sunday. Further afield a selection of medieval villages and cities like Girona and Barcelona with easy access.
