A log semi-detached apartment from 1991 offering the authentic atmosphere of Lapland on the Arctic Circle, approx. 600 m from the Suomu slopes and Hotel Suomutunturi in a beautiful pine forest. The heart of the truly atmospheric living room is a beautiful, inviting fireplace and, in connection with it, the dining area and kitchen. The apartment has three levels and the middle level has a sauna and a bathroom, a separate toilet and a bedroom with a double bed. Half a floor up is another bedroom with two bunk beds and a separate single bed. This space also has a work space and a balcony. The spacious bathroom has a washing machine and, in connection with it, a good-sized sauna with an electric stove. Kitchen equipment, for example: ceramic stove, separate oven, ice-freezer, crockery for 6, food preparation equipment, coffee and water kettle, toaster, microwave. Suomutunturi, which has been renovated and brightened up in recent years, is a peaceful tourist center located in Kemijärvi, whose high dangers delight Lapland vacationers in all seasons. Since we are right on the Arctic Circle, nature offers everything that a traveler to the north could only wish for. People come to Finland to ski, ski and experience a snowy winter. Those arriving on a summer and autumn trip can get in the middle of Suomu's wonderful nature, waterways and numerous islands. Those looking for hunting, hunting, swimming beaches and peaceful kayaking trips will have a perfect vacation in Finland. When the specialty of Lapland, the midnight sun lights up the summer, Suomu does not fall asleep. Many people want to experience the phenomenon of a nightless night. The evenings, which are getting darker towards winter, are brightened again by the northern lights. In addition to Suomuntunturi, there are four other ski centers within a radius of approx. 100 km. The store and fuel station are in the village of Joutsijärvi about 17 km away and the hotel has a restaurant that also serves guests staying in the area. 75 km of ski slopes at Suomutunturi, 17 km of which are illuminated.
