We were received warmly by a very welcoming host. We were given lots of information on what to do, safety of walking on the frozen lake, etc. The chalets look really cozy inside and include a wood stove. If you're lucky to have a chalet facing the lake, you have a nice view from the dining table, for us a view over a frozen lake during winter. We would have happily stayed here longer, the place exceeded our expectations and it would be nice to have an opportunity to visit during the summer season as well. Rovaniemi itself is just aroud the corner. It's easiest to have a car, but we also saw a public bus and a nearby bus stop.

Paula welcomed us super friendly and explained everything we needed to know for our stay. Beautiful loction, close to the City as well as the airport but still remote to enjoy some nature and peace and quiet. The lake right in front of the cottage was frozen and we could walk on it. That was super cool. The cottage has everything we needed and Kept us super warm. Very comfortable beds and a very nice Sauna.

The cottage is 10mins away from city centre by car. Close enough to explore the Rovaniemi. The room is very cozy and landlady is really friendly. Three nights stay is just too short. Definitely will come back with my family.

Amazing accomodation on the outskirts of the city. Price was cheap for Lapland and the season. We were so lucky to be there during the Aurora and this accomodation was the perfect location to view them from (down by the river). The cottages are accessible by a bus during the week. Close to Santa Claus village. We stayed in a cottage on the river front which had stunning views. Our cottage was kitted out with everything we could possible need to self-cater for our stay. There was access to a sauna room each night (free booking) and parking space for a car. The hosts were attentive and lovely! Highly recommend.

I loved everything about my stay. Paula was super accommodating. Directions were clear from the airport. The cottage was warm and inviting on arrival. Gorgeous views of the frozen lake. Not too far from amenities (I hired a car). I'd go back in a heartbeat. Sauna is definitely worth a go!
