From our welcome meet, Aleksi and his family were such amazing hosts. Always available when we needed some help and/or guidance. Provided us with some great tips on what to do in and around Rovaniemi. The location was so serene and absolutely beautiful. The cabin was perfect and cozy for those winter nights. Our highlight was definitely seeing the Northern Lights on our first time. Would definitely recommend and I would definitely be back. Next time, we will be sure to rent a vehicle 😉

The property is honestly beautiful, outside of town but not to far. We loved the fire inside the lodge and the the fire pit just outside. The beds were extremely comfortable and we enjoyed the fact we were secluded away from other people, it felt like we were alone in the wilderness which was exactly what we wanted. The hospitality from Alexsi and his family was exceptional, we had everything we needed and more. Our hosts was extremely helpful in advising us on all local attractions and best places to eat local cuisine. On our last night Alexsi told us that conditions were perfect for the Northern Lights to appear. We camped outside with the fire and were lucky enough to witness the spellbinding lights from right outside our lodge. Perfect for a couple or family, will definitely be returning on our next trip to Rovenemi.

Die Aussicht war großartig. Genauso wie die Unterkunft an sich und das Angebot an sportlichen Aktivitäten auf dem Grundstück. Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich nett. Die Lage war unschlagbar; stadtnah, aber trotzdem hatte man das Gefühl weg vom Trubel zu sein. Es war super schön Abends drinnen oder draußen ein Feuer anzuzünden.

Beautiful and peaceful location, a great view and friendly hosts! The cabin's small but cozy and had everything we needed. Really warm as well! The hosts were exceptionally nice and pickup/drop-off were smooth. Couldn't see northern lights this time but we had a great time and would go back :)

Situé au dans la nature avec une vue dégagé sur la forêt. Mise à disposition gratuitement du matériel comme les raquettes, les ski de fond, ustensiles de cuisine (il manque juste un ouvre bouteille). Armoire remplie avec des condiments (miel, thé, sucre…) facile pour se faire un thé le soir. Le poêle à bois incroyable !

Beautiful location with a stunning view especially while watching the sunset and northern lights. The host was incredible as well. He was very friendly, welcoming, super helpful and he was always readily available for any questions we had. The property was the perfect size for 2 people! It was cute and cozy and had the necessary appliances to cook and store food. However, it does not have an oven or microwave. This was not an issue for us but make sure to buy food items that you can cook using a hot plate or a kettle. The bed was super comfy and we stayed warm the entire duration of our stay as there was heating and a fireplace inside for us to enjoy. There was also a little fire pit for us to use outside for a warm campfire.
