This newly renovated contemporary apartment will provide you with everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay offering stunning Mont Blanc views and finished thru out to a high standard.The ground floor apartment features 2m 80 high ceilings ,oak wooden flooring and underfloor heating for a luxurious feel .The principle bedroom has a queen sized double bed and the second bedroom has two single beds.The bathroom consists of a walk in shower with rain fall shower head,sink basin ,vanity unit with hairdryer and wc.There is a ski locker plus a washing machine combi dryer for your use. Downstairs in the basement there is a bike storage room. There is a kitchen island with 4 bar stools, undercounter usb charging and intergrated sink and dishwasher, work surface with integrated fridge/freezer ,extractor fan,oven ,induction hob and ample storage also there is a cafetière ,Italian style coffee maker ,kettle and toaster.The lounge has a sofa and window seating area,coffee table plus a 50 inch HD smart tv.Adjacent is Apartment Maya also for rent thru this platform if you are a bigger group.
Originally from Bristol in the UK i spent several winter seasons in Tignes and then moved to Chamonix year round in 2006. Im a passionate snowboard mountaineer and kite surfer who loves to travel to new spots and meet new people. Living and playing here in Chamonix for the last 15 years Im always more than happy to share local knowledge and suggest activities ,hiking itineraries etc either before hand or in person during your stay .
The apartment is located 50 metres away from the river Arve in the heart of La Praz village with its incredible views and enviable position within the valley helping you to get the most out of your stay in Chamonix -summer or winter.Although it's in the centre of la Praz it's a very quiet location with free and secure parking.Its only 300 metres walk away from the brand new high speed Flegere cable car connected with the Brevent ski area and the stunning 18 hole golf course is only a 5 minute walk, it also offers great access to the other ski areas in the valley as its equidistant to le Tour at one end or les Houches at the other.The quiet village retains its charm and has a local post office,church,ski shops,cafes,tabac,bar/resteraunt and grocery store/bakery all on the doorstep .Ideal for a family with only a short walk to the ski lift-also there is a free children's playground opposite the apartment. Chamonix centre with its colourful streets, large selection of sport shops ,resteraunts,shops,and nightlife is a 5 minute drive/bus ride or you can take a 20 minute walk following the lit footpath alongside the river l'arve which is pleasant anytime of year.
