In the heart of Normandy, In Saint-Martin-de-Boscherville, in the domain of the ‘Manoir de l’Aumônerie’, in the Natural Parc of the Seine, border of a national forest, less than 20 minutes from Rouen city center. The Cottage "La Crèmerie" ("APARTMENT WITH A GARDEN VIEW") is an independent apartment on the first floor of the former dairy of the farm. The flat is composed of a living room, an open kitchen, a shower-room with WC, a double bed room and in a row an other room with two single beds. Beautiful view on the medieval garden. The Suite "La Longère" ("FAMILY SUITE") On the first floor of an old half-timbered barn from the 16th century transformed into a Norman farmhouse, a family suite with independent entrance, consisting of a lounge and snack area (microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine). A large family room for 3 people (a double bed and a single bed). Bathroom. Separate WC. The Four à Pain roomette (DOUBLE ROOM VIEWING GARDEN): In the old bread oven of the farm, independent and on the ground floor, a small bedroom for two people with its shower room and separate WC. Linen sheets from Maison EMBRIN, towels. Wireless. Check-In between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Check-Out before 10:30 a.m. Pets not allowed. Non-smoking accommodation. Evenings, parties and outside guests not permitted. Beautiful and historical area. Outbuilding of a Templar manor of the 13th century with a view on the wood and the garden.
Erwan and Sophie-Isabelle, we are passionated by historical heritage and our region. We put all our energy to restore and open this 800 years old historical monument in which we live with our two young boys.
The cottage is located in the domain of the "Manoir de l'Aumônerie, dit Ferme des Templiers" built in 1214 by the Templar knights from Sainte Vaubourg. This Norman farm is an enchanting setting. You will discover the medieval garden with 200 species, the orchard, the chapel Saint Gorgon and the charming village of Saint Martin de Boscherville. Our cottages are old and historic houses. Therefore it is not possible to heat them like a modern apartment. Outside the summer season, the indoor temperature is 17 ° to 19 °. So plan to have the sweaters you need to make the most of your stay!
