Bruno and Laurent are so lovely, and fabulous hosts. Very attentive, kind and fun. Their home is beautiful and very stylishly decorated. Our breakfast was exceptional. Plus there is a stunning view from the breakfast room. By far the best breakfast we've ever had when staying in a b & b. Thank you!

This half-timbered house dates from 1850, and it is located in the heart of the historic center of Petit Andely. This house of character with its tiles and its amber parquet brings it the charm of old houses with modern comfort. It's a new adventure that takes shape for Laurent and Bruno. Indeed, after a long career in Fashion in Paris, the Vexin Normand region has literally conquered them. After acquiring a farmhouse located about twenty kilometers from Château Gaillard, the charm of Petit Andely operated directly. It is a common project that has since taken shape, that of opening a Guest House and receiving guests for moments of relaxation, serenity, and filled with conviviality. This House is called Carpe Diem, because each of the guests must be able to pick the present moment, enjoy it fully, discovering, exchanging, and above all having fun.

La Maison Carpe Diem With its city garden you will enjoy magnificent sunsets with a view of the Château de Richard Coeur de Lion which dates from the 12th Century, which will immerse you in the heart of the history of Vexin Normand. You can also take advantage of our terrace and our veranda to have a drink or relax with a good book. The house is on 2 floors and we have 2 bedrooms and 2 suites with private bathroom for each of them. Our rooms and suites will welcome you in a special atmosphere and in a neat decoration. On the ground floor you can enjoy a warm living room with its fireplace, the large family table in the dining room, the veranda offering a masterful view of the Chateau Gaillard and its city garden will bring you tranquility, well-being and cocooning. On the banks of the Seine and at the foot of the famous ruins of the Château-Gaillard, which offer a magnificent panorama, the town of Les Andelys is made up of the Petit and Grand Andely.
