We opened this apartment in January 2020 because we have long wanted to make people discover our region: its castles, gardens, vineyards and gastronomy. We like to travel but we don't like to be taken for consumer tourists. So we will be able to advise you local actors who work on a human scale and for a good value for money or give you a lot of information. We like to share.

Located in a historic monument in the center of Amboise, La Maison du Philosopher has fouraccommodations: - an apartment with a castle view, ideal for 2 to 4 people. It has one bedroom, an equipped kitchen, free private parking, a shared garden, a smart TV. On the 2nd floor, it has a view of the royal castle. You will have at your disposal a queen size bed, separate toilet, a sofa bed, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a dryer, heating and fans. - A garden view apartment, ideal for 2 to 4 people, has one bedroom, an equipped kitchen, free private parking, a shared garden, 2 smart TVs. You will have at your disposal a queen size bed, separate toilet, sofa bed, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, heating and fans. - A ground floor apartment for two people with a separate bedroom (queen size bed), an equipped kitchen, a living room, a smartTV, a washer-dryer, a fan, heaters, a shared garden. - A studio equipped with a double bed (140x190cm), a smartTV, a kitchen, an office area and fans and heaters.

In addition to the castles of Amboise, Clos-Lucé, Chenonceaux, Chaumont-sur-Loire or Blois. We recommend the international garden festival of Chaumont-sur-Loire (April to October), a visit of the vineyards and wine tasting, a hot air balloon ride over the castles. We will be able to put you in touch with quality service providers. We also have a partnership with a massage and well-being salon. We will be able to indicate you the restaurants appreciated by the amboisiens according to your budget.
