Warmly welcomed and immediately offered help with luggage, as it was a few steps from the car park, although there is a chariot available for your use. The room was lovely with a large, comfy bed and views onto the garden. The air conditioning was explained (it was 32 deg outside) and by the time we returned with our luggage a welcome cold drink had been left for us. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and well -equipped with nice toiletries. Breakfast could be taken either inside or on the terrace and was varied, fresh and tasty. Juice, fruits, home made jams and local honey with pastries and copious amounts of coffee. The surrounding park was very nice and the pool was extremely welcome during this hot period. Olivier and Anne-Sophie were warm and friendly and keen to please, often pre-empting your every whim. We can definitely recommend and would hope to visit again.

This is just one beautiful well mantained place to stay. Everything was just wonderful! Rooms are spacious, clean, with great decor. Breakfast were wonderful, loved the coffee, fresh juice, everything! This place is also well located for various visits of chateaus around the river Loire.

This is a little slice of heaven in the Loire. Set in beautiful gardens with a swimming pool, the rooms are large and luxurious. The hosts, Olivier and Sophie and their daughter were so friendly and helpful: available for any questions we had. We stayed in a family room with our two teenage daughters. This actually turned out to be the entire top floor of one wing, with two bedrooms, two huge bathrooms and a large living room. A beautiful breakfast was served in the dining room every morning, with a huge selection of pastries, fruit, cheese, ham and baguettes, and a different hot dish every morning. Located in a small farming village, it’s very central for many of the chateaux, and only a 10 minute drive to Chaumont, which has several fabulous restaurants. Our kids were so sad to leave and I’m sure we’ll be back: thank you to Olivier and Sophie for a memorable stay!
