Offering an outdoor swimming pool and gardens, Le Domaine de La Millasserie provides B&B adult only accommodation in the countryside in heart of the Dordogne, 30 km from Bergerac. Free WiFi access is available in all rooms. Lalinde, the nearest village, is a 10-minute drive away.La Millasserie has a three night minimum stay. At Le Domaine de La Millasserie, all rooms are spacious and individually decorated, and each has a king-size bed, a breakfast table, a wardrobe and chairs. There is a private en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet. Each room also has a private terrace with lounge chairs and a table. Served daily, the continental breakfast includes coffee, tea, chocolate, pastries, bread, cheese, jam, fruit salad and juice. Several recommended restaurants can be found within a 10- to 25-minute drive of the property. Sarlat is 48 km from Le Domaine de La Millasserie and La Roque Gageac is 44 km away. Chateau de Beynac is 41.5 km away and Castelanud is 45.5 km from Le Domaine de La Millasserie. Bergerac Airport and Bergerac Train Station are 30 km away and the property offers free parking.

Breakfast of fruit salad, yogurt & cheeses, baguettes, croissants & pastries, butter, confiture, & juice, coffee & tea, is served each morning at 9AM. Free wi-fi in each room. Parking is free. Pets welcome. SERVICES Full daily room cleaning, towels changed each day & beds remade. We will store wine or food in our refrigerators & provide dishes & cutlery for picnic lunches or suppers on your terrace or by the pool. Small laundry items washed on request at no charge. Free coffee & tea available at any time. We will be happy to reserve meals for any restaurant and provide suggestions & maps for daily sightseeing tours. COMFORT Each room is differently decorated & furnished with antiques, comfortable reading chairs, breakfast table & chairs, an armoire & chest of drawers & king-sized highest quality bed. Ensuites have walk-in rain showers. The B&B is set in an established walled gardens with pool.
STAFF The “staff” are the owners of Le Domaine de La Millasserie, M. Alain Pioton and Dr. Byrne Fone. Alain, from Bordeaux, studied and worked in Hotelerrie in France for several years, and after moving to the United States opened Alan Pioton Antiques in Hudson NY in 1985. For the next twenty-five years he imported antiques to the US from France. Byrne, Emeritus Professor of English and American Literature at the City University of New York, is a many-times published author. Alain Pioton and Byrne Fone have travelled throughout France over the last three decades, and in 1989 they bought the Chateau de La Redonde in the Dordogne as a vacation home. They sold it in 1999 and the bought La Millasserie. In 2005 they built the B&B wing next to the 17th century house and in 2008 they moved permanently to France and opened the B&B in that year. Since that time they have received guests from around the world at their five star rated Bed and Breakfast, Le Domaine de La Millasserie.
LOCATION BEFORE BOOKING WE URGE CLIENTS TO LOCATE LA MILLASSERIE ON GOOGLE MAPS. La Millasserie is located in the countryside. GUESTS WILL NEED A CAR . WE ARE IN the ancient province of the Perigord, the modern Department of the Dordogne, known as the land of truffles, wine, grande cuisine, and chateaux. La Millasserie is central to all the sites and sights of the Perigord: 20 minutes from Bergerac and the medieval villages to the south, 35 minutes from Les Eyzies and the world of pre-history, 45 minutes from the Renaissance city of Sarlat and from Beynac, Domme, and the chateaux of the Perigord Noir, and 50 minutes from Perigueux. The Perigord offers music, art, antiques, hiking, canoeing, boat trips on the Dordogne, a variety of sports, and some of the most beautiful landscape in all France. Le Millasserie is in the countryside, but within easy drive of all the sites of the Dordogne. But for those who are unsure about our location, or prefer a city or village stay, we urge potential guests to locate La Millasserie on Google maps.
