In the countryside between Lot and Garonne and the Dordogne we welcome you to our AUTHENTIC MONGOLIAN YURTS. We invite you to take a break in the great outdoors, away from the crowds of the world. To come here is to love isolation, hiking or mountain biking, the fresh air of the countryside. The place is ideal for stargazing, hiking, relaxing in the countryside ..... Our yurts are handcrafted and imported directly from Mongolia. They have everything you need for a relaxing or romantic vacation. Each yurt is equipped with its own bathroom, with real toilets (septic tank). It also has its own private kitchen with all the necessary equipment, for example there is a fridge-freezer and a gas stove. To cook closer to nature there is also a barbecue. The yurt is surrounded by a large space for you to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the surrounding countryside. There is of course also free wifi inside and outside the yurts. Eymet 5kms, Bergerac 30kms, Marmande 30kms, Périgueux 80kms, Bordeaux 120kms À bientôt!
We (Andy & Nicky) are a couple originally from the UK, but moved to France to live in 2010. We bought a house between the villages of Eymet, Lauzun and Miramont de Guyenne. We now have a house called 'Minerve' with 10 acres of land, and decided that part of the land would be perfect for some yurts. So we now have 2 luxury yurts in about 3 acres of land over looking the lovely French countryside. We both speak French as well as English so can help you with whatever you need while you are staying with us.
Our yurts are situated in the middle of the French countryside. We dont have any close neighbours (the closest are about 0.5km away!) We are however only a 30 minute drive south of Bergerac airport, and within easy reach of other airports such as Bordeaux, Toulouse, Limoges... It is also in an ideal position for those that are travelling by road. The area is great for cycling, with marked cycle routes right from the yurts. These include a couple of marked routes of over 100km! The area is also famous for its wine, and chateaux, and of course the great local food. Duck is the local speciality. There are also a lot of other activities to do in the area, including, walking, boat trips, swimming, golf, horse riding, tennis, fishing...
