The establishment is situated 5 km from Carcassone center on a vast tree-lined property free from scrutiny of any neighbours. You will enjoy the calm and bucolic countryside while still being close to stores and historical sites. The studio apartment is independent with a private entry behind the Hosts’s house, garden-side. A covered, secure, and free parking is found right next to the front door: very practical for easy coming and going. The apartment is comprised of a big room with a living-room area , a big double-bed, a well-equipped small kitchen, and separate bathroom with toilet, sink and walk-in shower. The water from the faucets is filtered and dynamized: no need for bottled water ! You will love its pure taste and appreciate its effects on your skin. Outside the double-glass windows, you will find a rolling shutter and iron grill for your security, and a mosquito screen for calm and ventilated days and nights. Towels, toiletries, and cleaning products are included. The bed will be made for your arrival. Weather permitting, and in season, you will enjoy an outdoor swimming pool (unheated). You will have access the olive tree-lined patio surrounding the pool including lounge chairs and parasols. An electric barbecue is available for your use. In summer you will be able to taste the fruit that grows in the garden : figs, plums, almonds, hazelnuts, etc. If you pay close attention, and are lucky, you will be able to see a little squirrel who comes to partake of nature’s bounty as well ! A game room with table-soccer and a ping-pong table are available to you during certain hours. In the same room, a training bike is also available. For your amusement, you will find many captivating board games. You have indoor and outdoor access to clothes-drying racks and a washing machine. Laundry soap and products are included.

My husband and I are retired and live on the premisis. The studio is attached to our house. We will greet you on arrival and put the keys in your hands.
