We really enjoyed our stay in Avignon. It is such a beautiful city even in January. Jacques is a really nice host and speaks really good English. The apartment is really convenient and the kitchen (which we didn't use except for making coffee) was really convenient with many supplies. We were happy we could bring our dog. The terrace we didn't use since it was in the middle of winter but would be really nice during summer time.

Lovely apartment in the center of Avignon, walking distance to many restaurants, bars and shops. Just a 10m walk to the main train station. The hosts were flexible with our arrival time (our train was delayed), gave us a warm welcome when we arrived and showed us around the apartment. The terrace is nice and quiet with a nice breeze going through. You can even see one of the tips of a monument close by. We were also 10m walk from the main tourist information where we booked a wine tasting trip.

We really enjoyed our ten day stay in this beautiful apartment. It is extremely well decorated and furnished and it is very well equipped with everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable. The highlight was the peaceful courtyard which is so secluded and quiet. It was perfect to be able to come back and relax there, particularly when the weather was hot. We appreciated the location of the apartment being within easy walking distance of shops, cafés and restaurants as well as all the museums and places of interest that we wanted to visit in Avignon. Thank you, Jacques, for greeting us when we arrived after a long day’s travel and for that much-appreciated bottle of wine from your village.

Jacques met us on arrival (even though our train was late) and was very responsive to messages. The apartment is compact but well set out - making good use of the space. I was originally a bit unsure about choosing this apartment because it is quite dark but given the heat in Avignon while we were there, it was actually rather nice - and there is aircon in the lounge (but not in the bedroom). The outside terrace was great (the reason we initially picked it) - although you had to use bug spray because of the mosquitos. Fortunately there was some in the apartment (and I wish I had found the plug-in in the basket next to the bed on the first day rather than the last...). Good washing machine and an outside rack for drying clothes. Supermarket just down the road and the main market not far away. Walking distance to the train station and easy access to the apartment.

The property is brilliantly located. It is an easy walk from the centre station and close to the city centre but in a quiet area. The courtyard garden was a lovely place to sit with a glass of wine.
