The villa was clean and spacious, with a great breakfast selection taken in the garden. Secure off street parking provided. The friendly host was extremely helpful with local travel trips. I'm glad I took Willy's advice and visited, Villfranche-sur-Mer on my return from Monaco. The SNCF station, Saint-Laurent-du-Var is just 7 minutes walk from the villa. Bus/Tram tickets can be purchased at the large modern shopping Mall, about 20 minute walk from the villa. A recommended stay. Denis

The owner is very nice and hospitable and his two cats are very cute. The breakfast that he prepare are perfect and all the rooms are nice and clean. We had a very enjoyable vacation in his home! On our way out, he even let us take his grandmother's homemade jam, which was so lovely and appreciable! We have no hesitation in recommending it.

Breakfast was served in the garden under old Magnolia and olive tree. Every morning fresh croissants and baquettes, home made jams etc waiting on the table, the service was always really perfect. Willy was an excellent host, very kind and warm person - very easy to get along. He made us feel like we were old friends. The house and the garden were just wonderful too. Willy`s home and hospitality makes us wanting to visit Nice again and of course to meet our lovely host Willy again. From Villa Calliste there are excellent connections for example by train to Monte Carlo and Cannes.

I liked everything. The villa is in a quite residential area not far from the airport or train station to move along the coast of Cote d’Azure, just 2 quick stops from Nice. The balcony with a nice view was very beautiful. The bed was comfortable, room spacious, bathroom clean. And above all Willy, the host, was very accommodating but not at all invasive, you’d see him, only when you needed to see him. He helped me practicing french, gave some some very useful tips and even offered me a complimentary ride from the airport on his very special car. And it was a good value for money, considering how expensive Cote d’Azure is. Thank you Willy for everything!
