The village is quiet and located within central Cornwall on the south coast so easily located to visit the others areas of the county. The mainline train station is just a 5 minute walk away and is where the branch line to Newquay is located too. In the neighbouring village of Tywardreath, famed by Daphne du Maurier as being The House On The Strand, there is an independent award-winning butchers shop. The beautiful south Cornish coast with its golden sandy beaches is just a 5 - 10 minute stroll away.
