The property was set in a lovely and well-maintained garden, surrounded by hills with sheep. It was so peaceful and lovely. The host offered to cook breakfast earlier than usual to accommodate my schedule. That was lovely. The breakfast was very nice with homemade rhubarb, and honey from the host’s own beehives. The property is located 300m away from a local put which serves food. This was great for the evening as we did not have to use the car to dine.

Alltybrain Farmhouse B&B and the self-catering cottages are up a private lane with plenty of secure carparking space. There is a wonderful view all around of the Welsh hills and whether you visit in the spring, summer autumn or winter there is always some sort of domestic animal and wildlilfe activity happening around the gardens and fields! Duck Cottage and Damson Cottage are delightful romantic cottages each graded 4* by Visit Wales for two people and are set back off the farmyard at Alltybrain Farm. They retain many old features such as flagged stone floors and thick walls. Both cottages have views from every window. Damson Cottage and Duck Cottage are weekly let during the summer months from Friday to Friday. The Hayloft is spacious accommodation for 2 guests seeking a minimum 2 night short break self-catering accommodation near The Brecon Beacons. This spacious self-catering accommodation has a large bedroom, which can be either made up with a twin or super king bed, living/dining area, kitchenette and a decent shower bathroom. Alltybrain Farm is 4 miles from the market town of Brecon. Our village pub is within easy walking distance and Cradoc Golf Club is 3 miles ...
Please do note that all the cottages are self-catering and it is only if you are staying in The Farmhouse that we offer breakfast. This is included in the cost of staying as B&B guests. The Hayloft is self-catering accommodation which is supplied with tea and coffee. The Hayloft can be booked online for two guests. The Hayloft can accommodate up to 3-4 guests which can be arranged by telephone or email request.
Damson Cottage, Duck Cottage, The Hayloft and The Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast at Alltybrain Farm Cottages are located up a private lane 4 miles from the town of Brecon. This is one of the oldest historic market towns in the UK. Alltybrain Farm Cottages and Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast is close to The Brecon Beacons and is a perfect place to stay when visiting the National Park and Welsh countryside. There is plenty of secure parking space, facilities for bicycle storage and walking equipment.
