Applecross B&B is set in a very remote location of the beautiful Scottish Highlands. A perfect wilderness and wellness getaway for those wanting to escape modern day life. Its on the NC500 route and only 2hrs from Inverness & 90 minutes from Skye. We have a relaxed & homely set up, an ideal place to truly unwind and enjoy nature and the outdoors.

We love Applecross & think you will too. After spending the last 20 years getting to know the people & local area we decided to move from central Scotland & set up our B&B. Allowing us to enjoy more of the things we love to do and sharing our local knowledge of whats best to see and do. Applecross is an outdoor playground if you enjoy walking, cycling, outdoor swimming, kayaking etc. There is an abundance of nature including Deer, Highland cattle, pine martens who visit our garden regularly, golden eagles, seals, dolphins, badgers to name just a few. So many fantastic photo/ drawing/ painting opportunities with the surrounding hillside and mountain views around the coast over to Skye, Rhona and Rassay. If you just want to stop and enjoy the peace and tranquility there are several little coves and beaches within walking distance or just relax in the garden. The Applecross in and Walled Garden are lovely places to eat and are a short 5 mile drive or walk from the B & B. The Applecross Heritage centre is packed full of information. The Coal shed gift shop and Applecross Photographic Gallery are also worth visiting. Dont forget to enjoy star gazing as you wind down for the day, we have very dark skies.
