Everything was great. It is just outside the main part of the city, but it is a nice walk down into the city and not very far at all. It says continental breakfast, but it certainly filled me up; there was plenty of choice, so if you go without it, it's your own fault. The room was very, very spacious, and the bed was so comfortable. My wife said the room was amazing because of how spacious it was; it was like having your own bedsit. We had a garden view, which was ever so nice to look out onto. I loved the idea of fresh milk in small milk bottles instead of the little milk jiggers that you sometimes get in hotels and guesthouses. It was nice to be able to park the car easily, with plenty of room in the car park. I commented to my wife on the way home that when we go back to York, I certainly know where we are staying.
