Absolutely loved our stay here. Really well thought out location so that you are not overlooked at all. Felt like you were in the middle of the mountains but still with the luxury of a comfy bed and lovely hot shower!!

Black Mountains Glamping provide the perfect rural escape, nestled on the lower slopes of the Hatterall Hill within the Brecon Beacons National Park. With breathtaking views across to the Sugar Loaf and surrounding mountains sits your own private bell tent, surrounded by rolling farmland and ancient woodland. Your huge 6m tent is beautifully furnished with thought given to every aspect to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible for couple and families. With two tents to chose from the ‘Great Oak’ and the ‘Foxglove’, each with their own style and character, you will love their beautiful interiors.
We moved to the beautiful Black Mountains several years ago with our four Sons, where we work full time on our family farm. We are passionate about farming sustainably and in harmony with nature. We are delighted to be able to share this wonderful place with you as our guests and look forward to welcoming you soon. Nichola & Jonathan Lewis
If you chose to venture out there are many local walks and cycle routes to enjoy taking in the spectacular scenery. The area is steeped in Welsh history and boasts wonderful local pubs, some within walking distance, for home cooked meals and refreshments. With the town of Abergavenny just 6 miles, Crickhowell 9 miles, Hay-On-Wye 12 miles Monmouth 20 miles and Hereford City Centre 22 miles away we are centrally located with plenty of amenities on offer.
