I liked that it was a short walk into york so it was good value for money as we were just on the outside of city centre. No need for a taxi. Their was a booklet with plenty information in it. Good Tea and coffee facilities and fruit and croissants in the room.

Location great in quiet private road. Close to city centre by car,bus or walking. Lovely gesture of pastries and fruit in room on arrival. Ideal for couples on short or longer stay.

Room size was great and all facilities provided were amazing: mini fridge, microwave with plates and cutlery, washing up liquid and sponge, towels, bath robes, a couple of waters, sweets, coffee, tea - anything you could ask for was already available and ready for the guests. Also, by the entrance there was another chiller with drinks available to buy and magnets which I thought was a very nice touch. The area was quiet and town centre was easily accessible - about a 25mins walk or 5-6mins by car. Instructions for check-in and check-out were sent via text and very thorough and easy to follow. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

I stayed in a beautifully decorated twin room. Ashleigh was really helpful & friendly. It was a short walk to the bus stop, easy access to York centre. I would definitely recommend it

The accommodation was ideally situated within a 10-minute walk of the University and York centre, located on a quiet residential street (a dead end, so very little road noise). I liked that I could check in and out by lockbox if needed, so I didn't need to worry if Ashley (the very lovely host) was not about. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and finished to a high standard with a great bathroom (and an excellent shower!) I appreciated all of the little extras such as food and drink I could have for breakfast or take to work as a snack, having a microwave, cutlery, and cleaning products so that I could eat in if needed, and a handwritten guestbook with personalised recommendations that were very helpful! I will definitely be looking here first for rooms when I next visit York.
