I enjoyed my short stay in CEAD MILE FAILTE and recommend it. Peter is a grand host and a gentleman. The house is comfortable with a lovely garden where you can admire the birds. It is close to the G1 bus which takes you to the center in a few stops and to the Hop On Hop Off Bus which is a good way to visit Belfast. The area is quiet and was perfect for me as it is nearby Falls Road and on the bright side ;-) !

Hi my name is Peter. I am a 66 yr old amputee who has a large house to share. I'm retired and warmly welcome all guests . I also live on the property but that doesnt nor will present a problem as full privacy is assured. Please also find the listing on Airbnb with lots of very favourable 5 star reviws and I'm a superhost. The house and gardens are yours to use as you wish and please feel free to ask any questions etc. I have 3 grown up children who have all graduated in their various fields and they now live elsewhere hence the availability. The house is ideally suited for those attending any and all events associated with Feile An Phobail/Belsonic/Custom House Square/Boucher Road/Falls Park.

The house is not suited for children....over 18/s.....IMPORTANT UPDATE>>>PLEASE CONTACT THE HOST FOR DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO GET TO THE PROPERTY AS GOOGLE IS SENDING GUESTS TO THE WRONG ADDRESS WHICH IS CAUSING GREAT DISTRESS TO MY NEIGHBOUR AND RIGHTLY SO>>GUESTS ARE PARKING IN HIS DRIVEWAY AND SOME ARE ENTERING HIS HOUSE UNINVITED>.AGAIN I STRESS DO NOT FOLLOW GOOGLE MAPS AND CONTACT THE HOST DIRECTLY...I have a house with lots of bedding available in the heart of West Belfast. Basically its the whole house available with the host also living on the property . The rooms are as follows : bedroom 1 has a double and single bed --Bedroom 2 is a smaller room with a double bed--Bedroom 3 is a converted attic space with 4 single beds and bedroom 4 is a downstairs sitting room with 2 single beds making the sleeping capacity a total of 11 for larger groupings. Ideal to explore Belfast with an excellent bus service into the city yet within easy reach of all local amenites including supermarkets,atm.food takeaways,off licence.bus stops, good local taxi service and only 2 minutes from the main M1 Motorway and travel to further afield destinations. A home from home in all respects.

Neighbourhood information

At the bottom of the street at 1 minute walk you will find an off -licence, atm,, chippy, pizza house. chinese takeaway and small shop. Within a 3 minute drive you will find Asda, Sainsburys, Lidl, and other assorted stores in the main shopping malls of West BELFAST. A pub is located within a minute walk with a 2nd at 3minutes walk. The main bus routes into Belfast city centre are also locaTED at the bottom of the street and also the area is served by excellent taxi companies and I can arrange these for you. I can arrange what is called a Black Cab Tour which will drive you round you round the west of the city and give you a detailed spoken history of the troubled past our society has so sadly been afflicted with including a tour around our "peace walls" which still exist to this day dividing our communities. The drivers are quite knowledgeable and in most instances are themselves products of the conflict mostly being ex-prisoners. You can be collected from the house and dropped where you wish after taking approx 2 hours. . A new addition to West Belfast has been the opening of the James Connolly Interpretive Centre again at only a short walk or drive from house.
