Grafton Mews is ideally situated in the centre of Chipping Campden in a quiet mews, only yards from the world renowned High Street. Just a stroll to collect your newspaper or fresh croissants. No need to drive anywhere, as there is a wide range of places to eat within easy walking distance. I am happy to suggest places to visit or give advice if you wish. The cottage has 3 bedrooms on the first floor with an en suite walk in shower to the main bedroom. ~There is a separate bathroom with bath. There is a shower attachment over the bath for washing hair but this is not suitable to have a shower. There is also a downstairs cloakroom with loo and basin.
Grafton Mews has been my holiday cottage for approximately 25 years. Each year I try to do something to improve it - this year the main bedroom has been updated with a new super king bed, mattress and also re-carpetted. Having owned a successful holiday cottage agency (which was sold in 2013) I still enjoy being able to meet guests, many who become friends and return again and again. I live nearby so am on hand if you need me. I am happy to suggest places to visit or give advice if you wish but if you prefer a hands-off approach then that is fine too!
Chipping Campden is such an attractive place to stay and the cottage is situated in a quiet mews just 75 yards from the High Street. No need to drive to eat as there is a wide variety of very good restaurants, pubs and cafes. For those that like visiting gardens, Hidcote Garden (National Trust) is less than 10 minutes drive with Kiftsgate Gardens nearly opposite and both well worth a visit. Batsford Arboretum (with excellent coffee shop) is lovely to stroll around and is dog friendly. Warwick Castle and Blenheim Palace are both approx 40 minutes drive and can take a day to view everything. Stratford upon Avon and Shakespeare's Birthplace are only approx 20 minutes drive. In addition Chipping Campden is surrounded by the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with its picturesque villages and countryside. Plenty of places to walk with dogs such as Dovers Hill (National Trust - one mile from Chipping Campden) or Broadway Tower where you can also enjoy coffee and cakes in Morris and Brown
