** 6.6.22 The pool is currently closed due to issues with the surrounding ground and an opening date is not available. The park rules do not allow for travel/stays for business purposes. Chalet 18 is a lovely two bedroomed chalet on the smashing Elmrise Park. I own the one chalet and not the whole park. It's new to me and has been entirely redecorated and re-styled throughout. Everything is there that you need, with a large flat screen TV and fully equipped kitchen. There's a large lawned, decked and fenced off garden with full furniture and BBQ. There is a newly refurbished childrens play area. DIRECTIONS: From M4, travel east and follow to end at Pont Abraham. Follow A48 to Carmarthen. Take second exit at the roundabout. Take first exit at next roundabout (B&Q). Take next exit towards Johnstown/Llansteffan. Turn right at the lights. Go through Johnstown and keep on the same road, going through the village of Llangain. Keep on the same road, for a couple of miles and you will see a sign for The Mansion House/Hostel. Turn right here. Just keep on the same lane and the road will go slightly uphill. The lane then goes straight into Elmrise Park. Follow the road all the way to the end and there is a turning circle. Turn round and park up immediately. There is a path which slopes upwards. Chalet 18 is about 50m up this path, with a cedar red fence and grey decking.

The chalet is 2 miles away from Llansteffan which is an absolute treat. The beach is vast and beautiful. There is an area which doesn't allow dogs so is super safe for children but there is plenty of space for everyone. There is a tea shop by the car park. Additionally there are great fish and chips available at Florries on the beach. The village store is run by my friends Sarah and Jamie (who makes the bread there) - and the New Croft Bar & Bistro is at the back of the premises. It's fabulous and Jamie makes amazing pizzas! A little further up the High Street is The Inn at the Sticks which does incredible food. The Castle pub is next door and you are sure of an amazing welcome and good food there too. Carmarthen is about 7 miles away and has everything you would expect from a small market town. Tenby is an easy drive and is well worth a visit. If you fancy more of a winding drive, treat yourself to a visit to New Quay. There are often dolphins to be seen and some of the best fish and chips I've ever had!
