Very good meals.
Very good meals. Breakfast offered many choices, including full English breakfast. Very comfortable bed and spacious room. Near the town centre and all the facilities. Bus stop nearby. Bicycle storage available in locked place. Staff very helpful and friendly. Television in room. Kettle and drink refreshments provided in room. A lovely stay and plenty of places to visit in the area.
Public living in the area could be very noisy at night in the early hours which can disturb light sleepers! Perhaps late night revelling happens? But anti social people not staying at the hotel are not the responsibility of the staff.

Everything was great from before we arrived.
Everything was great from before we arrived. They called to see what time we would arrive - we were 5 minutes away, but the call was appreciated. Very helpful once we got there, helped us to extend our stay so we didn't have to leave so early, pointed us in the direction of shops and onsite facilities. Where was stayed was lovely, it had everything we needed and was very clean - except for the big spider that kept trying to join us each night. The hot tub was clean and we could sit there and watch the little ducks and have breakfast with them. Was a nice stay

Situated in tranquil surroundings with wonderful views, the lodge we stayed in was absolutely beautiful and clean. We had breakfast and an evening meal in the Glasshouse Restaurant on both days we were there and both meals were faultless, beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Staff were pleasant and happy to help with any information we needed. When we left I didn’t realise I had left a bottle of expensive perfume and aftershave in the cupboard and I was contacted by staff and arrangements were made for this to be posted out. This showed me how honest and trustworthy the staff are who work for the company.
The cottage was perfect for our family - a lovely old terraced house renovated as a quiet, calm space that was very welcome as we were at a busy family party over the weekend. The beds were comfortable and the 9 year old in our party was in seventh heaven at having two bunk beds to choose from. The cottage was really well furnished and spacious, beautifully clean, and brilliantly located so close to the centre of Pocklington.
Everything. It feels like a home away from home! The fire is the best touch. There is nothing better than coming back and putting on the fire on especially when it's cold and it was definitely cold up north. The owners are very lovely and accommodating. Pocklington itself is a lovely little village not far from York itself. I would definitely consider returning again sometime!
The property was lovely, very clean & modern inside. Location perfect to drive into York or Pocklington. Our heating went off on the first morning and maintenance were at the property less than 15 minutes after reporting, couldn’t ask for a better service and they were very happy to help. We can’t wait to stay again.
Breakfast was continental with lots to choose from. Full English was available if desired for extra charge (but not needed). Host was very accomodating.
The Hotel also has a Chinese Restaurant attached, the menu was great as was the food and service.
We stayed whilst doing the Way of the Roses cycle ride. We were warmly welcomed and given secure storage for our bikes. The room (in the new annex) was superb and far exceeded expectations.
The location is excellent - in the heart of Pocklington.
Very convenient for all the facilities in Pocklington and the surrounding area. The property was in immaculate condition the only problem would have been the street parking but this was solved by a very helpful next door neighbour.
This lodge was fantastic for what we paid, onsite jjs bar was lovely brilliant staff service and food lovely. Nice peaceful area perfect for getting away with family to chill out. Definitely we return at a later date. 😁
Friendly staff. Comfortable rooms and beds. Had a bath in our room(4). Good food in the restaurant. I'm gluten free and this was not a problem.
They had safe storage for our bicycles.
Enjoyed our stay.
Very pleased with our stay. Every member of staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, tidy and comfy. Breakfast was tasty and filling. Would stay again.
Breakfast very good. Given its a motel as expected lots of traffic noise. I think the location is good for Pocklington and just off the road to Beverley and Hull.
Clean and tidy in both the bedroom and the bathroom. Quiet rural location and just a few mins drive from Pocklington where I was working. Breakfast was ample.
Fantastic room with hot tub which was great for relaxing. Restaurant food and drinks great. Staff even left us a card and chocolate in the room on arrival
Warm welcome, spotless bedroom & bathroom.
Delicious breakfast and host was so lovely.
