Laburnum Cottage is our happy place in Trewint next to the lovely Hamlet of Altarnun. It is well placed close to the A30 and therefore convenient to many of Cornwall's' amazing sights. Launceston is the closest town. Tintagel, Eden Project, Bude all 30mins. And after all these adventures you come back to a cosy cottage to call home. Watch a movie and get the real fire going. There is a great pub 5 mins walk away, The Kings Head or 5 mins drive Jamaica Inn for amazing sunsets and history or The Rising Sun our favourite! Garden, Parking and lovely neighbours.

We live in Kent so we have a key code box and will give you the number just before arrival. We can be contacted easily if you have any questions or problems and have a very handy neighbour.

Trewint is a small hamlet which is a 10 min walk to The Kings Head local pub with great pub food and with a real fire. Altarnun is the next village where you will find a post office with convenient shop. A lovely tea shop and a church with a picturesque bridge where we always play Pooh sticks. Even with our now teens! Lauceston is the nearest big town which is only 15 mins drive away. The moors are a 30 min uphill walk, we like to run it! You will find a great expanse with wild horses' cows and sheep. Boscastle, Bude, Padstow, Eden Project and Newquay all a 30-40 min drive. The cottage is in a hamlet and is close to the A30 for ease to drive around Cornwall. You need a car to visit this cottage.
