A stunning Grade II listed house, spacious and unique. Perfect for a lovely stay for the whole family. The property dates back to the 16th Century and offers bundles of character including exposed beams, original fireplaces, and exposed brickwork. The accommodation comprises a spacious living room, leading down to a dining room and snug both featuring exposed brickwork floors and fireplaces, contemporary kitchen with a vaulted ceiling overlooking the garden. There are three double bedrooms, one of which are en-suite and a separate family bathroom. The house is situated on the historic Bradford Street, a 5 minute walk from Braintree town centre. We are a 5 minute drive (20 minute walk) from the train station, with a direct train into London (1hr journey). Close to Stansted Airport and within easy reach of the M11 and A12.
Braintree is a bustling market town that offers the perfect balance between rolling countryside and busy city life. It is home to several attractions including: Braintree Village: A shopping centre with over 80 stores Great Notley Country Park: A beautiful park with a lake, play areas, and walking trails Cressing Temple: A historic site with beautiful gardens and a museum Stanstons Petting Farm: An educational petting farm offering a range of unique animal encounter experiences Braintree & Bocking Public Gardens: A beautiful garden with a pond and fountains Braintree District Museum: A museum that showcases the history of Braintree and the surrounding area. We have several other attractions in the nearby area, including lovely restaurants, cosy pubs and lots of shopping!
