We’re in a quiet area, facing the sea, with our 14 year old quiet cat Lillie, and 2 mini Dachshunds Lil Miss Murphy; & Freddie... all are friendly and big softies...
There’s no stairs here, we are ground floor, so perfect for all ages/mobility abilities...
HOUSE RULE: Please leave ALL outdoor shoes in the porch, for hygiene/medical reasons, we are strictly a 'NO OUTDOOR SHOES INDOORS' home… No candles and no smoking throughout
You’re welcome to bring any indoor slippers you have, but please don't wear them outdoors...
The bathroom IS solely yours during your stay, we have our own washroom. Your bedroom & bathroom are next to each other, at the far end of a private hallway, very separate from the rest of our home, so nice and quiet
In the warmer months, you are welcome to use our garden which you see from your window, or our front patio if you prefer a spot of people watching along the promenade, and to see the amazing sunsets we have here
We are a 'HomeStay' which is like being at home, you have your own kettle, fridge, and cuppa bits n bobs in your room if you prefer to stay separate from the rest of our home... We can't offer breakfast, but there are plenty of close by cafes
There’s a bus route at the top of the hill, easy access into Morecambe/Lancaster and the train station nearby
You have a side facing sea view from your room, across our garden, and a full view from our lounge. If you prefer to be outside, the sea views from our front patio are stunning, you can do a spot of people watching there, or eat in our quiet side garden, also with a full sea view while you sit at the table there
You are more than welcome to simply 'plonk' yourself on our sofa and relax in the lounge, so don't feel like you need to stay in your room if the weather is bad and you simply want to stay in...
Jen has a handmade folded book art business and now works full time on this at home having left her 'day job' as a Headteacher's PA... Jen is always on hand if you need anything but will quietly carry on with her day in the background, so you can happily use our lounge when you want a quiet, relaxing day in...
Iain is a full time keyworker, but when home, he is happy to chat with you if you like to sit and have a natter...
If you have any questions during your stay, just ask away, and feel free to give us feedback about your stay... We aren't a B&B or professional hoteliers so we accept advice and prefer it before you leave to keep any reviews honest and positive to help us attract more visitors to our sea front home :O)...
If you like a stormy winter then book with us and watch the tides from our lounge!... Our lounge is comfy to relax in, and you are more than welcome to use it just as you would at home, so take your slippers off and put your feet up on the blanket box but please don't fight over the remote control haha...
You have your own tv, with access to Sky tv for a relaxing stay if you prefer to chill in your room.

Lancaster Castle is the home of the famous Pendle Witch Trials, tours are very inexpensive, and the museum in Lancaster is always worth a visit...
Watch this space, the Eden Project will be with us VERY soon, and just a short walk out of our gate, and along the promenade to get there... Less than 30 minutes on foot, 5 minute drive along the prom!...
The Midland Hotel, our local art deco delight, is a short poddle down the promenade too, and the Rotunda bar at the back is fabulous if you like great cocktails. You can also have an amazing afternoon tea there too, or visit the spa facilities downstairs...
Don't forget to have your picture taken with the Eric Morecambe statue, situated central promenade area and a beautiful memorial to visit and read all about their guests and local sponsors who contributed to the statue being built, which was opened by our Queen in 1999...
Heysham Village is approx 30 minutes walk down the left side of the promenade, and has many quaint little shops and cafes to visit...
You're close in both directions to anything you will need, and we are more than happy to point you to our favourite eateries. Plenty of pubs, cafes and take away places, who will also deliver to our door...
We have paddle boarders, swimmers, fishermen and the odd jet ski if you like to people watch from the front patio... The pandemic brought plenty of people to the slipway, many still use it, so there is always something to see from the garden and patio...
This is mostly a retired area, usually quiet, and our neighbours are friendly...
The Eden Project will be open soon, and we are a very short walk, straight out of our gate, onto the promenade, so you can leave your car and take in the views along the way. We can't wait until the project opens
