The cottage is attached to the main Leadenham House which was built in 1880. The cottage building originally housed the stables and servants quarters for the main house. It has since been converted into a self-contained cottage which has it's own terrace, garden and table and chairs. The accommodation is on 2 floors. There are two bedroms on the first floor, one with a king size bed and one with a double. Each bedroom has a wash basin. Upstairs there is also a newly fitted bathroom with wash basin, toilet and bath with shower over. Downstairs has an entrance hall with a separate toilet. There is an open plan living and dining  area with a television, sofa, armchair and dining table. The kitchen area is well equipped with a range of cupboards and a modern electric cooker with ceramic hob.

Leadenham Cottage is just a few minutes walk from the centre of the historic market town of Oakham. There are many shops, restaurants and cafes, a medieval castle and a market square. The beautiful Rutland Water is 5 minutes away by car. Hire a bike to cycle round the water's edge or visit the world famous Bird Watching centre - renowned for its Ospreys. Enjoy a walk by the water or in the stunning Rutland countryside. Watersports are a speciality so why not try sailing or windsurfing? There is also a magnificient golf course just 10 minutes away. The historic town of Stamford is 15 minutes by car and Burghley House, famous for its annual horse trials, is nearby.
