The Cottage is beautifully appointed and designed for guests to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing break in Poole. The beauty of the property is you can walk everywhere, and within a few minutes you can be in the heart of Poole Town Centre, Poole Quay and the historic Quarter. Poole has a huge variety of pubs, restaurants, bars and curio shops and is fast becoming known for its high standard of cuisine. The house has three double bedrooms, all with king-sized beds, two bathrooms (one en-suite) and downstairs WC. Two of the bedrooms have full independent Virgin TV with all movies, sports and entertainment channels. Downstairs also has independent Virgin TV with two games consoles and a Blu-Ray player with extensive library. The kitchen is fully equipped with double oven, microwave, gas hob and has an extensive range quality cooking utensils and small appliances including food mixer, bread maker and more. There is a small utility area with washing machine and tumble drier. In winter guests can enjoy the open fire and log burner. We welcome dogs at the Cottage. Whilst there is only a small patio garden, there are miles of beautiful walks directly from the house.
I have a very long association with Poole and the property's local host, Debbie, lives close to the house and is on hand to assist with your stay. Whether you'd like local restaurant recommendations or places to visit please don't hesitate to ask, we would be delighted to help.
With the exception to the historic quarter, Green Road is one of the few last remaining older Victorian terraced housing streets in Poole. The street is one-way/dead end so is very quiet and enjoys minimal passing traffic. There is so much to see and do in Poole. Highlights include Scaplens Court, Poole Museum, RNLI Museum as well as the range of pubs and restaurants near the Quay. From Poole Quay you can take boats to Brownsea Island, Wareham, Swanage, and Sandbanks. Poole Park is a real highlight, particularly for children. For rainy days the Dolphin Centre has an indoor climbing facility, library, and a few minutes walk from the house you can find the Lighthouse Theatre which is the largest independent performing arts theatre outside of London featuring touring West End productions, comedy, children's theatre and independent cinema screenings.
