Hi , I’m Rachel , I live with my partner Andy in Chesterfield and together we run our own businesses along side our holiday let’s . We love hosting our guests and occasionally get to meet some of you ! I used to live in the property so I know a little of the surrounding areas should you need any recommendations for places of interest , restaurants & Bars .

The maisonette is roughy half way up Bank road , set over 2 floors , with stunning views from the terrace overlooking the valley , Starkholmes and Riber Castle . 5 minute walk don the hill and your in the centre of Matlock town and train station . Fully equipped kitchen ,dishwasher,washing machine, fridge/freezer, double oven , microwave . Iron / ironing board, portable airer, retractable washing line on terrace . 3 bedrooms , 2 single beds , one double and one kingsize . Main Bathroom , en suite off first bedroom and a toilet located on first floor.

Neighbourhood information

Matlock is a thriving litle town in The Peak District with plenty of eateries , bars and walks close by . Matlock Bath is 5 minutes away in the car ,or you can walk along the picturesque river Derwent and beautiful cliffs where you will find the Heights of Abraham cable cars and Gulliver’s Kingdom for children . Bakewell town and Chatsworth house are all within a 5 mile radius . Carsington waters and Alton Towers are all a short drive away . Ideal for walkers who want to explore The Peak District .
