An excellent, well equipped, beautifully decorated, comfortable property. Lovely sea views from the first floor, gorgeous location, generous welcome pack and easy off road parking. Dave and Claire were very welcoming and helpful. The coastal area around Dunraven is very beautiful and great for walking. Plenty of good eateries nearby. We had a delicious meal at the Fox in St Brides Major, just a few minutes away. We were only able to stay 3 nights this time, but can’t wait to return with our dog next time and stay longer!

Contemporary but cosy self catering accommodation located a short walk from Southerndown Beach, local pub next door and restaurant on the stunning Heritage Coast. Sleeps 4 and 1 good dog. Perfect for a relaxing break for friends or families. Whether you plan a beach/surf holiday, or plan other activities /attractions : Southerndown Golf Club Championship Course, Horseriding on the beach, Historic Market town of Cowbridge, Mccarthur Glen Designer Outlet, this is a fantastic coastal base.
The owners live adjacent to the lodge and if not immediately available, always contactable by mobile phone.
Southerndown is a quaint coastal village popular with visitors all year round. Ideally located for a seaside or walking holiday, the village benefits from a traditional local pub serving great food and a popular restaurant on Beach Road. Southerndown historic walled gardens and Dunraven Bay are equally popular for picnics and relaxing strolls to admire the magnificant coastal scenery. The Heritage Centre is well worth a visit for more information. The lodge is conveniently located on the hourly bus route which offers the opportunity to explore more of the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan.
