This one bedroomed self contained apartment has been sympathetically converted to retain original features, whilst providing modern amenities. It is located in a quiet area, just 5 minutes walk from the City Centre. Whilst you can explore nearly all that York has to offer on foot from this amazing location, allocated car parking for one car in the on site secure parking is provided free of charge to guests for the duration of their stay. You can also enjoy relaxing in front of a large flatscreen smart TV, access our free Wifi, and enjoy dual aspect views of the river . The bedroom has a high quality King Size bed with medium/firm mattress and plenty of wardrobe space. Whether you are planning just a few days, or a longer stay, there is everything you need. The living area is spacious, with a four seater sofa that you can stretch out on after a day of sight seeing, as well as enjoying a meal in the dining area, separate from the well equipped kitchen. Ruth has spent most of her life living and working in and around York, and even after moving away at times, has always returned to this beautiful city. She continues to live locally and can provide recommendations of where and what to visit, and some great restaurants too.

The location of the apartment is just 5 minutes walk/2 minutes drive from both Waitrose and Morrisons if you wanted to stock up on supplies for your stay, but also extremely close to the city centre. Walk just 5 minutes alongside the river to the city centre, and you emerge at the fabulous restaurants and eateries of Fossgate/Walmgate on one side, and the famous Shambles and it's Harry Potter shops on the other. If you're arriving by train, the apartment is about a 10 minute taxi ride from the station. Whilst so near to the City Centre and all it has to offer, the Cocoa Suites benefit from being in a quiet area where you can enjoy some peaceful downtime. You can also explore the city by electric scooter/bike. There is a bank of them just opposite the onsite secure car park, and you just download the app and go. For those who have an electric vehicle there is also a charging point at the Cocoa Suites (additional charges apply through an app).
