Peaceful location, well situated for exploring the New Forest. Excellent accommodation with huge comfortable bed, spotlessly clean. Very welcoming and helpful host. Delicious breakfast with homemade produce- a foodie heaven. I would highly recommend. We would be very happy to return.

Located close to Lymington on the edge of the New Forest, we offer Twin or King occupancy with a comfortable lounge seating area and private bathroom. Facilities include high speed internet, smart TV, in room tea and coffee with home baking, hairdryer, complimentary toiletries and private parking. Breakfast is served in the conservatory and includes home made breads and preserves, freshly squeezed juices and a choice of hot dishes using local produce. A second room is available for families or groups of friends and makes ideal self contained accommodation. ARTISAN BREAD BAKING COURSE - Half Day If you’ve ever wished you could make your own bread, this is an ideal opportunity to combine your stay at Stepping Stones with a fun, hands on experience focusing on practical skills covering kneading, proofing, shaping and of course....baking! Why not stay on after breakfast and have some fun baking artisan breads to take home!? Alan is a classically trained chef who worked in many top class hotels during his early career and will be happy to share his knowledge taking the mystique out of cooking showing you some shortcuts and 'tricks of the trade'. Ask for details.

Stepping Stones is perfectly located for nature lovers, bird watchers, beachcombers, walkers, sailors, horse riders cyclists & those who simply want a relaxing break. For the golf enthusiast - nearby Barton on Sea Golf Club is a stunning links course. We have a number of fabulous restaurants nearby, including Pebble Beach, The Pig, The Jetty and The Haven. The New Forest National Park was created by King William I (William the Conqueror) in 1079 to be his personal royal hunting grounds. It's Britain's smallest National Park, covering an area of 220 square miles, and it's the rare blend of open heath, ancient woodlands and beautiful coastlines, wild roaming ponies, donkeys, cattle and pigs, that make it such a unique and special place Getting Around Good train access to London and Bournemouth.
