    Well organised, I had to download an app for the smart lock which was really easy and meant we couldn’t forget or lose a key. Free parking also all arranged before we arrived and lots of on street parking so no worrying about extortionate car...

Large townhouse just a 10 minute walk from the rail station, 15 minute walk to the city centre. So you can enjoy all the amenities York has to offer. - New quality furnishings and electrical items. - Self check-in:- Your phone is your key for your individual stay. - USB sockets throughout the house and next to each side of the beds for phones etc. - One parking space - Virtual permit parking must be booked in advance of your stay. - Amenities include :Air-fryer, oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, large fridge and plenty of cupboard space. Washing machine/clothes airer there's also a retractable washing line and pegs for a sunny day. South facing courtyard. Three bedrooms accommodate a maximum of five people, making it perfect for friends or a family city break. -Downstairs bathroom with a great shower (plenty of power). -Not recommended for anyone with mobility challenges as terrace stairs are a little steep. - We welcome children over 7 years - Names of all guest are required before check-in. - No candles, naked flame or smoking/vaping within the property. -Quiet hours between 10pm and 6am, as Swan house is in a quiet residential street and we like our neighbours to be happy. The house is professionally cleaned to enhanced standards before and after your stay, if you require any extra cleans this can be arranged for an extra charge. There is no charge for additional housekeeping if your stay is more than seven nights.
I’ve lived in York most of my life and love that everything is a walkable distance, there's plenty to go see and do even on a rainy day. I now live near the river with my family, for most of my primary and early teen years I lived round the corner from Railway Terrace. This home is used by family, friends and paying guests, I welcome all feedback to help provide a great experience ..
Excellent central location, 10 minutes walking distance to the railway station just 15 minutes to the Bar Walls at Micklegate and easy access to the city centre, the museums and York racecourse. The terraced town houses line one side of the street with views looking to York minster, properties along Railway Terrace are an even mixture of owner occupied, long term rental and holiday lets.
