This small, family-run guest house is 1.6 km from Cardiff city centre, with easy access by bus. It offers free Wi-Fi, free parking and a range of good-value rooms. The Tanes Hotel has been family run for over 40 years. It prides itself on offering a warm welcome and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The Tanes is less than 2.4 km from Cardiff Castle and Cardiff Central Rail Station. There are regular buses. There are en suite rooms and rooms with shared bathroom facilities. All rooms have central heating, TVs, washbasins and tea/coffee. Ground floor rooms are available. There is a communal lounge and a dining room for guests' use. Tanes Hotel is a 3-star self-assessed Guest Accommodation. All credit cards will be pre-authorized for the full amount of the booking.

Tanes Hotel has been welcoming guests under the personal and friendly supervision of the family that own and run it for nearly 40 years. A local institution, Tanes Hotel is a large Victorian house built in 1888 (retaining many original internal and external features), that prides itself on its quality, comfort and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel recently completed a major refurbishment to keep itself fresh and up to date. We are exactly ½ mile (approx. 15 minutes walk) from the City Centre of Cardiff, the Capital City of Wales and close to all local attractions. Guests can relax and unwind in our large front sitting/drawing room after a day’s sightseeing, or indeed after a hearty, freshly cooked breakfast enjoyed in our pleasant dining room appointed with bone china plates, cups and saucers for that superior service. Accommodation is provided in eighteen attractively furnished rooms that have all modern facilities. We look forward to meeting you and aim to provide the highest standards of service and comfort for your stay.
