Spotlessly clean ,everything you needed ,very peaceful, shower was brilliant . Lovely owner Paul who helped with our finding the property guided us along on the phone when our satnav failed us & gave us lots of advice & information in the area. Nice touch with a welcome pack & fresh flowers too ☺️would recommend this property with no hesitation.

Tanyresgair is a 14 acre smallholding in a stunning location right in the middle of Ceredigion – between the Cardigan Bay coast to the west and the Cambrian Mountains to the east; and between Aberystwyth to the north and Lampeter to the south. The 170 year old stone barn at Tanyresgair has been recently converted into two beautifully comfortable and spacious cottages. They both provide luxury self-catering accommodation for 2 people in an open-plan design with each having its own unique character. They have retained the charm and character of the original stone barn, with exposed beams, stone walls, wooden and slate floors. Enjoy: - peace and quiet - no traffic – at the end of an 0.5m access road - no neighbours for 1 mile in all directions (except SHEEP) - established garden with large wildlife pond and picnic bench for visitors - 300m elevation so beautiful 360° views - no light pollution means stunning night skies - on the edge of moorland with a walking trail to a lake and viewpoint - prolific birdlife including red kites & buzzards flying overhead every day
Tanyresgair Cottages provide an ideal base for many walking, cycling and wildlife watching adventures; as well as being conveniently located to enjoy all the tourism opportunities that Ceredigion, Cardigan Bay and the Cambrian Mountains have to offer. Things to Do: Ideal as a base for walking, cycling and wildlife watching: - walk sections of the Coastal Path for stunning views of Cardigan Bay - two route marked cycle trails – Ystwyth Trail, Rheidol Trail close by - take a dolphin watching boat trip from New Quay - watch mass red-kite feeding at Nant-yr-Arian - visit nearby nature reserves for excellent bird-watching Tourism: - take the Vale of Rheidol steam railway to Devil’s Bridge waterfalls - drive into the Cambrian Mountains and around the Elan Valley reservoirs - visit the beautiful beaches at Mwnt and Llangranog - go back in time to the quaint fishing villages of Aberaeron and New Quay
