What I loved about the Bay Tree was firstly how friendly and welcoming the owners are. This is now mine and my sons second visit and both times they have went above and beyond what a hotel could and should look like. Spotless, brilliant layout close to alton and good views. If I ever go back to alton towers guarantee I will stay here and use mum's motors for my travel

Fully inclusive, freshly prepared full breakfast is served daily with love and attention, our full breakfast is sure to kick-start your day on a high note. We love living on the edge of Alton Village, in this quiet location, yet we can walk to the activities in the village. As a keen sports person we love this location as we have a choice of many different walks, long or short, flat or hilly (though most involve a hill!). Dimmingsdale offering bridal paths for cyclist, walkers, runners, riding, rock climbing and the latest crave of Bouldering!
Alton Towers Theme Park is our biggest attraction less than 2 miles away. We are situated between the market towns of Ashbourne known as The Gateway to the Peak National Park, Uttoxeter famous for the Racecourse and Cheadle where you can find the 19th century Catholic Church. In the Village we have a choice of pubs, The Talbot perfect for Sunday Carvery or a quiet drink, The Bridge Inn which offers an amazing menu every day of the week, The Bull is host to a Pizza Oven and The White Hart, which is our favourite is a Thai Restaurant. We also have two village stores which offer a wide range of products, one of which is an off license, a hairdressers and a Post Office. In the next village you will find The Denstone Farm Shop, with a Cafe, Clothes shop, Deli and Beautician. There is also The Tavern Pub which has a varied menu. You can walk to Denstone from Alton on the Old Railway Line, making for a perfect day out!
