R-Escape is a local company set up to provide high-quality holiday accommodation on the Isle of Skye in outstanding locations. We have eight properties available all over the island and have been fortunate to receive some lovely reviews from our visitors. Each property has stunning views and has been furnished to the highest standard. We are a very focused team and love what we do and feel exceptionally proud to be able to bring people to Skye and give them a first-class experience. We want to assure all our guests that all our cottages remain open. Although we are highly recognised for our exceptional cleaning standards, we have taken extra precautions and increased the time between changeovers to ensure all our properties are cleaned to the highest standard.

Nestling under the great Trotternish Ridge, The Eyrie is an exceptional escape for those who love outstanding sea and mountain views combined with luxury and modern living. The accommodation is set over one building and offers one king-sized bedroom, a large open plan kitchen/dining/living area with a wood-burning stove and full-height windows framing panoramic views over the Minch to Torridon. The second bedroom is housed in its own stand-alone pod – providing privacy and peace for sharing couples. Each spacious bedroom comes with a deluxe en suite – with a generous walk-in shower… and of course, spectacular views to be enjoyed from your bed.

Neighbourhood information

Grealin is a very tranquil hamlet within easy reach of beauty spots such as Old Man of Storr, Quiraing, Trotternish Ridge, Lealt Falls, and Kilt Rock. Restaurants and shops are a short 20 minutes drive in the Islands capital, Portree. Skye offers all kinds of outdoor activities, whether you enjoy hiking, fishing, photography, or want to experience something different such as kayaking, wildlife stalking or foraging. Several friendly guides are located near our cottages, and we will be happy to recommend their services.
