Located in the peaceful village of Catterlen, THE GINNEY Country Guest House offers free WiFi throughout and free onsite parking. This outstanding sandstone barn conversion is just 10 minutes' drive from Lake Ullswater. Each spacious room includes a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, and a safety deposit box. The rooms benefit from an en-suite bath or shower room with a hairdryer. All rooms enjoy garden and rural views, with the use of a shared outdoor seating and patio area. In the mornings, The Ginney Country Guest House serves breakfast in the guest lounge/dining area, which boasts oak beams and a large stone fireplace. Dishes include full cooked breakfast, continental breakfast, and smoked salmon options. THE GINNEY Country Guest House is just 3 miles to the historic market town of Penrith, 10 minutes drive to the Lake District and 25 minutes to Keswick. An array of activities can be enjoyed locally and in the Lake District, including golf, walking, cycling and touring the beautiful lakes and mountains.
