THE PROPERTY: The Loft is a second floor apartment, on the top floor of an old Victorian terraced house. The apartment offers 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchen/dining space and living room. Sleeps 4 with one double bed in the bedroom and one double sofa bed in the living room. Please note the living room is open plan to the hallway stairs (see photos) so if using the sofa bed this is not a private closed off room. The kitchen is well equipped and fully fitted with electric oven and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer and integrated washing machine. Dining table seating 4. The living area is a beautiful, relaxing, light space with vaulted ceilings, velux roof windows and sea view glimpses. Relax on the large corner sofa, in front of a 50’’ smart TV. Access to the Roku channel and Freeview Play. Free wi-if. Bedroom 1: With double bed and 43’’ wall mounted TV. Small dressing table and mirror located in the alcove, with a hairdryer PROPERTY ACCESS: To the rear of the property we have a small driveway for parking, with space for 1 car. The driveway is suited to an average size family car only. Off this driveway is a private rear door entrance into the apartment, with a self check in key safe located here for keys on arrival. PLEASE NOTE: Our driveway is accessed via a rear access road that runs behind several properties. This road has a steep incline to begin with, narrow in places and turning around is limited with the need to reverse out when busy. There are just a few steps from the driveway to the entrance door. The Loft Apartment is one of three apartments in the building so with any apartment style living there may be some noise expected.
Our property is new to booking. com from June 2023. We have successfully been operating our holiday let for the previous two years from AirBnB and still continue to use. We have built up over 100 5star reviews on AirBnB if you wish to view before booking. Any queries before or after making a reservation please do not hesitate to drop me a messsge. Set in the beautiful village of Combe Martin, The Loft is a newly renovated apartment. A perfect base for exploring the North Devon coastline! The property has been fully redecorated and furnished to a high standard. The property is in an excellent location. Just a short stroll away from two beaches and the village centre. With numerous pubs, cafes and shops all within minutes walking distance The Loft makes for a perfect, enjoyable stay for couples or families without any need to use your car.
COMBE MARTIN Combe Martin is a small village, but has a lot going for it. Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) there is lots to do and discover. The beach is a great choice for families. At low tide the beach some excellent rock pools and caves, great for the kids to explore. The beach is also a popular spot for water enthusiasts. The calm waters are a perfect spot for kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and open water swimming. Kayaks and paddle boards can be hired from companies within the village or join a tour with local guides to explore the secluded coves along the coast. Combe Martin has a range of amenities including several convenience stores, a butchery, a bakery, gift shops and Post Office. There is an excellent choice of local pubs, takeaways, fish and chip shops, cafes and ice cream shops all serving excellent food. The South West Coast Path runs through Combe Martin and offers some spectacular walks and scenery. Hike along to Great Hangman, the tallest sea cliff in Great Britain. Or walk in the opposite direction to Broadsands beach, a hidden gem of North Devon and follow the 230 steps down to the secluded golden cove. On the outskirts of the village is the Combe Martin Dinosaur and Wildlife Park. A recommended day out for all!

    1) Please note there are stairs within the apartment. These may not be suitable for accessibility reasons or if you have young children. 2) Please note about our parking and access. Space for one car only. Our driveway is small and only suitable for an average family size car. The rear access road to our driveway is narrow in places and turning around is limited with the need to reverse out when busy. 3) We have listed The Loft as suitable for infants and children, but please note we do not supply any baby equipment such as a travel cot, high chair etc. You are welcome to bring your own. Please also be aware of the apartment layout and the open plan stairs before booking with young children. 4) Please note when using the sofa bed in the living area, that our living area is open plan to the hallway and stairs and has no door to close off to make a private sleeping area. Blackout blinds are fitted in the living area. 5) The Loft is one of three apartments within the property. We have never encountered any major problems with noise before but please note The Loft is a second floor apartment with two apartments occupied below. With apartment style living a small amount of noise may be expected. 6) We kindly ask guests travelling with an electric or hybrid vehicle to agree that they shall not use a normal domestic power socket to charge their vehicle as this may cause safety risks.
