As seen on BBC ITV News, the original Bakers made illicit Gin there over 100 years ago (google Old Bakery Gin. The history of the building and Mews is crazy, Michael Portillo came to film. Very quiet at night, external lights and security cameras. The Gin Distillery is located next door at the Old Bakery Building. The Old Grain Store has been lovingly refurbished, it has a ground floor open plan room with kitchen with Electric Oven and Hob, Fridge Freezer and Washing Machine Dryer. Kitchen Sink. There is a Flat Screen LCD TV with Freeview and free wifi. Small Sofa and Chair. There is a small dining table with 3 chairs. The WC is downstairs with a wash hand basin wet room floor with shower. The bathroom has underfloor heating, and the rest of the property is heated by 2 Rointe Electric Radiators which are super-efficient. Welcome to the Old Grain Store, in 2013 I bought the Old Bakery (next door) to convert from a derelict wreck into my office for my plumbing company and the Old Grain Store to use as a Storage space, during the renovations we removed the original bakery twin ovens and the remnants of the Chimney, as they had trees growing up them and they were unsafe. I then got sued by a Neighbour who claimed they owned the Chimney, pre-court trial, whilst the lawyers looked into the history of the bakery and Mews, we found out the Bakers made illicit Gin in the mews over 100 years ago, we tracked down the family descendants and obtained the once illicit Recipe, just for fun (no more than a glorified Hobby) we resurrected the illicit gin using the original 4 botanical recipe. Its one of the smallest gin distilleries in the UK (Old Bakery Gin) we now supply Buckingham Palace, Harrods, Fortnum & Mason with Gin, Rum and our new Whisky.
