The Old Joiner's Shop is a beautiful ground floor apartment set at the bottom of Spring Hill. It was completely renovated in 2017 and has been completed to a high specification. The bathroom has underfloor heating with a walk-in monsoon shower. There is a luxury 4000 pocket sprung mattress in the bedroom which is perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the town. The open plan lounge has a fully integrated kitchen and complimentary Yorkshire tea and 100% arabica fair-trade coffee is provided for all guests.

I am a local lad, born and raised in Yorkshire. I have been visiting Whitby for 30 years and despite travelling to many places around the world, it still remains a favourite. I am also keen to create an energy efficient apartment with minimal carbon footprint and waste. The electricity supplied to the flat is 100% renewable and there is a Hive smart central heating system.

The apartment itself is set in a fantastic location in the conservation area directly behind the historic Bagdale Hall on the west side of the town. It is a peaceful area far enough away from any loud pubs and bars yet lies on the flat within a 2 minute walk of the harbour.
