A modern fitted kitchen sits at the rear of the room, ensuring no one is left out of the family fun, even if they are cooking up a storm! This floor is home to a contemporary bathroom with shower over bath, perfect for a hose down after the beach. Follow the staircase up to the second floor, where you find two charming bedrooms. The master sits at the front of the house, with an ensuite shower room. Sit up in bed with your morning coffee and enjoy views out to the ocean and beyond, and sleep with the windows wide open to hear the Atlantic waves crashing against the cliffs. The cosy twin room is at the rear of the property and houses two single beds tucked under the eaves, a perfect den for the kids!! Accessed from the living area and making the most of the breath-taking sea views, the Pendarves has a wonderful balcony on which to eat, relax or just enjoy the sun setting over the bay. And there is allocated parking for one car.

Treyarnon Bay’s reputation as one of the area’s best beaches is easily justified. With its expanse of fine, golden sand and craggy cliffs, this glorious part of the coast has something to keep every member of the family happy. With lifeguards on patrol from May until September, many happy hours can be spent surfing its fun waves or exploring its critter filled rockpools. If calmer waters are more your thing why not try the tidal pool nestled into the rocks, topped up daily by the ocean and a perfect spot for snorkelling. Pick up the coast path north and wander over to Constantine, a huge arc of golden sand with world class waves, or keep on strolling round Trevose Head, home to the lighthouse and Lifeboat station. Walking South from Treyarnon takes you past Fox Cove and Pepper Cove, both famed smuggling spots from the days when goods were brought ashore away from the watchful eye of the local marshals! St Merryn village is a short drive away, with plenty of shops and bars including Rick Steins pub, The Cornish Arms. The village is also home to a well-stocked shop, bakery, and surf shop, so all bases are covered! Another five minutes in the car will take you to Padstow, a vibrant harbour town packed full of renowned restaurants, galleries, and a whole host of outdoor activities, perfect for a day out.
