We loved the cosy home from home feel. The facilities were fantastic and the atmosphere and host’s were friendly. The children adored being so close to animals and were encouraged to meet the farm residents, especially Victor the Goat!!

A stunning, newly converted holiday let, set in the historic village of Escomb, two miles from Bishop Auckland. The Stables Holiday Let is a beautifully converted stone barn loft accessed by an exterior spiral staircase and with views over the farm and Wear Valley. It is light, spacious and comfortable with a wood burning stove for winter stays. A nearby park for children, plus the opportunity to explore the River Wear adjacent to the village. Perfect for plodging and dog walking! Nearby Witton Castle, Raby Castle and Hamsterley Forest have wonderful children's attractions. A visit to High Force Waterfall is a must for all visitors. The village has a beautiful Saxon Church to enjoy. Kynren - a very popular outdoor show takes place over the summer months on a Saturday night. Durham City is wonderful to explore- something for everyone. The local Railway Museum at Shildon is also worth a visit. Some lovely pubs to eat - The Cross Keys at Hamsterley and the Pollards Inn serve delicious meals and are dog friendly. The Thai Restaurant in Bishop Auckland Market Place is also superb! You are welcome to bring two dogs at a small additional cleaning cost paid on visit by cash. This area has lots to offer and explore!
Our family and animals welcome you to Three Lane Ends Farm. Our lovely barn loft conversation is a gorgeous place to stay. There’s lots to do in this part of northern England. We hope you enjoy your stay. Any problems, we are available on site to assist.
Lovely Weardale and Wear Valley. Towns of Bishop Auckland, Darlington, Barnard Castle, Richmond, beautiful villages. Castles galore! Anglo Saxon Church in village. Lovely walks and lots to see and do! Nice places to eat. Car or by bus to nearby Bishop Auckland.
