Very modern Lodge, peaceful location but close enough to Cheddar and Wells along with lots of other attractions. A very well equipped kitchen, I have to mention the exceptionally quiet washing machine, which is great in an open plan living area. Beds are very comfortable with soft, clean linen and great pillows. Bathrooms are also very clean and modern, the Log burner was great and is made up ready to be lit on arrival, great for those colder nights, although the heating works well enough without it. Overall a fantastic place, and I would not hesitate to recommend it, I would definitely return, although we tend not to go to the same place twice.

Tor Farm Lodge is a charming cottage located 3.5 miles from Cheddar Gorge. Set on a country lane, it has a garden, terrace, hot tub and access to seasonal outdoor pool. The cottage enjoys a peaceful setting looking onto the beautiful Somerset countryside. The pretty terrace has a barbecue and a dining area. Interiors feature pleasant, modern décor. The lounge has a flat-screen TV and a DVD player, while kitchen facilities include a microwave, fridge, oven, hob, kettle, toaster, a washing machine and dishwasher. The cottage also includes free Wi-Fi. The surrounding countryside is ideal for hiking and you can visit the caves surrounding Cheddar. Glastonbury and Wells are within 30 minutes’ drive, while Stonehenge is less than 50 miles away. The beaches at Weston Supermare and Burnham-on-Sea can be reached in 30 minutes by car.
