Cerrig y Barcud is an extremely friendly, family run business. Whatever your choice of holiday cottage, you will feel at home from the moment you open the front door. We have lived here at Cerrig y Barcud for over 12 years, and pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our cottages.

Property information

Tryfan is a compact single-storey cottage, to which our regular guests come back time and time again. The cottage has recently been fully refurbished, including a new modern kitchen and bathroom. Tryfan Holiday Cottage has an open-plan lounge/dining area with fitted kitchen. It has one bedroom and accommodates two adults in a double bed. The lounge area is equipped with a comfortable leather sofa and armchair, central heating, TV and DVD player. A film library is available in the games room. The fitted kitchen includes electric cooker, microwave oven, fridge with freezer compartment and electric kettle. Crockery, glassware, utensils and equipment you are likely to need during your holiday, including a hair dryer. BBQs are available to borrow from the games room. The double bedroom has a shower room en-suite. This is equipped with a toilet and wash basin and a walk-in shower, together with a heated towel rail. EV Charging is Available at Cerrig y Barcud Holiday Cottages (7kw Pay as you go charger using the Voltshare app)

Cerrig y Barcud holiday cottages are ideally located for exploring the area, eating out, walking and relaxing. Enjoy uninterrupted panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. These include the mountains of Snowdonia and the Lleyn Peninsula from which our cottages take their names. Children are free to play on the large lawns, or in the games room, while our ponies and goats will always welcome attention and the occasional carrot Enjoy the pace and tranquility of the local area or enjoy walks from the front door. On the banks of the Menai Straits just a few minutes walk away, you'll find the world famous Halen Mon / Anglesey Sea Salt Saltcote, Anglesey Sea Zoo and Foel Farm Park. Choose to watch the scores of seabirds, along the Straits, witness the harvesting of Anglesey mussels, or while away the time catching crabs off the jetty. A few minutes away, you'll find the stunning Newborough beach and Llanddwyn Island
