Hosts always replied to my messages and very helpful. Bread,eggs and extras on arrival. Decor was beautiful and so in keeping with the surroundings . Very clean and everything you could need. Lovely neighbours. Excellent wifi.

The cottage has been designed and looked after with a passion. The hosts were hospitable having a bread, free range eggs from their hens and jams etc on the table for us. Plus milk provided. The kitchen was well kitted out and heating was all working. The location was peaceful. Easy communication and access to the cottage.

Beautiful little cottage. Cosy and clean and perfect location to visit our daughter and family in the village of Whitwell. Nice walk in to village even though footpaths bit muddy this time of year but that wasn’t a problem.

It was quirky, characterful and thoughtfully well equipped, in a lovely rural setting with a country pub close by serving food. The hosts were quickly responsive to a couple of questions and accomodating to requests that we had, they were easily accessible but not intrusive and left us to let ourselves in which was perfect for us. Highly recommend 😊

It was spotless in the cabin all the little touches just made it hot water bottle on the bed nice fluffy towels. Eggs bread and milk for us, the location was amazing the outside bath was lovely can’t wait to go back!
