An absolutely amazing room the whole guest house is immaculate The hosts Nikki & Kev are fantastic so friendly and there to give advice on local great spots to go Breakfast wow clean plates all around great selection Small touches like chocolates n a wee card left out for my birthday you two are amazing ! Can’t wait to book our next visit we would highly recommend a stay here !

Situated in Gatehouse of Fleet, Woodlyn Guest House offers accommodation with free WiFi and flat-screen TV, as well as a tennis court and golf courses situated within easy walking distance. Woodlyn is also conveniently situated a mere 8 minute drive, or 5 miles from the popular Wedding Venue GG's Yard at Laggan so is ideally situated as a base if attending a wedding there. After a day of hiking, cycling or fishing, guests can relax in the shared lounge area. Dumfries is 42 km from the bed and breakfast, while Workington is 145 km from the property. Woodlyn offers the discerning traveller a luxurious overnight stay and a hearty breakfast within a few minutes walk from the heart of Gatehouse of Fleet located in the heart of Galloway. We have fully modernised bedroom suites with a wide breakfast choice. If attending a wedding at GG's Yard/Laggan then Woodlyn is conveniently situated a mere 8 minutes, or 5 miles away from the venue. Woodlyn is within easy access of a wide range of walking and cycling routes with Galloway Forest Park, the Fleet Valley National Scenic Area and some beautiful sandy beaches located nearby. Our Guest House is set in the village of Gatehouse but is within easy reach the Laggan Outdoor Adventure Centre with zipwire, archery, and segway activities on offer. There is a lovely view down to Mossyard beach: a mix of sand, pebble and rock. For a good day out guests can visit the Cocoa Bean Chocolate Factory with cafe and 'make your chocolate' facilities. Guests can also opt to sample the delights of the Cream o' Galloway Ice Cream Factory - some of the best Ice Cream we have personally ever tasted! Guests can also take walks to Castramon Wood, a 400 year oak wood planted originally to serve the manuf...
