The house is on the second floor, in a very safe area of Athens. In front of the building there is bus stop with bus lines to take you to the historical center or the Port of Piraeus. A tram stop is very close if you want to visit the beaches of the south coast. A bus line (x-96) will bring you from the airport very close to the house. The In 50 meters there is a 24 hours kiosk with bus tickets cigarettes and other small products. Across the street there is a big supermarket with self-service restaurant and very good prices . The house is very quiet as its balcony has view in a pedestrian street. It is fully equipped with all the necessary electrical appliances (clothes washing machine, electric oven, microwave oven etc. ) In fact it has anything you may need in every day life. Also coffee , Greek and filter will be there for you.
My name Eleni and I was born and leave in Athens. I m a Philologist and I teach the ancient and modern Greek language. I speak English and Italian. I love Athens and I will be glad to help you explore my city with informations and hints to make your visit a worthy experience.
Very close is Stavros Niarchos Cultural center and park with the National Library and the National Opera. A lot of activates take place there and during the summer almost every weekend there are free outdoor concerts. The location of the house allows you to go easy to the Port of Piraeus and make a day trip to a Greek island , visit the bars and restaurants of down town Athens or if you have a car make daily trips to other cities as Delphi and Nafplio.
